BBBNW returns to BelPres for our first post-pandemic concert with an exhilarating and uplifting program. The music will depict heroes real and fictional, overt and unheralded, from movies and everyday life featuring  music by John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Paul Lovatt-Cooper, and Gabrielle Gaston. As we return to concerts our primary goal is, to the best of our ability, to ensure everyone's safety. Join Brass Band Northwest as we explore music that describes specific places or things or people. Composers have long sketched images in sound: Antonio Vivaldi faced bracing winter storms and delighted in bird songs in his violin concertos, Four Seasons and Richard Strauss summited a mountain in his Alpine Symphony, only two examples from many.
