Festival Honor Band clinic will be held during the afternoon of the NW Festival Brass Band day (Saturday).  Area student brass players will enjoy a 2-hour rehearsal/coaching session with Yamaha Artist Charles Villarrubia, professional tubist, Associate Professor in Tuba/Euphonium and Brass Chamber Music at University of Texas (Austin), and Guest Soloist for the Festival.  At the end of the clinic, the Honor Band will give a short performance for other Festival participants.

Registration for the Festival Honor Band is $15, which includes participation in the Honor Band, attendance at all participating band rehearsals with Festival Guest Conductor Stephen Bulla, attendance at all clinics held during the Festival day, and admission to the evening Gala Festival Brass Band concert at 7pm.  The Gala Festival concert will feature the participating bands, Mr. Bulla as Guest Conductor with each band, and the tuba artistry of Mr. Villarrubia.

A student who registers for both days of the Festival ($25) can participate in all the activities of both days, including the evening concerts, except for the solo competition on Sunday.  Participation in the solo competition is an extra $20.
