The Northwest Brass Band Festival was launched in January 2003 by BBNW co-founder Denny Schreffler, along with Steve Hubbard.  Their intent was to bring together British-style brass bands from Washington State and British Columbia for a day of music, learning, and fun.  Since that time, bands from Oregon and California have also participated.

Mr. Schreffler ran the Festival for the first 3 years.  Festival organization and management was then taken over for the next several years by BBNW’s other co-founder, Steve Keene.  Subsequent organizers have included Gordon Mehus, Denise Cline, and current organizer Lorraine Thurston.

{NOTE:  2004-2006 not quite complete.  Also, pictures from each year to be added as time permits.  Also, 2013-16 remain to be updated — stay tuned!}
